FREE CALCULATOR · PLAN, QUOTES AND PAYMENTS
Room renovation budget comparison calculator
Compare an entered renovation plan with recorded quotes, commitments, approved changes and payments without estimating prices or final cost.
01
How the renovation comparison is formed
- The adjusted plan adds the base budget and approved changes entered.
- The quote difference compares that plan with the quote total entered and does not decide whether scopes are equivalent.
- The payment difference compares commitments with payments and does not establish a debt or amount due.
- The committed share describes only the entered amounts and does not forecast the final project cost.
CHECK
Before interpreting the result
Enter amounts from your own records and check the unit used by each field. The calculator does not validate sales, costs, hours, inventory, payments, fees or percentages, and it does not retrieve data from external sources.
Change one input at a time and compare several scenarios. This helps separate the mathematical effect of each assumption without presenting the output as a confirmed price, margin, profit, budget or available amount.
Use the output to structure an initial comparison. Before making a tax, legal, accounting, financial or commercial decision, check current information and your specific circumstances with an official source or a suitably qualified professional.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does this calculator estimate renovation cost?
No. It contains no unit prices, quantities, labor rates or market data. It compares only the amounts you enter.
Does it compare contractor scope or quality?
No. A total does not show whether quotes include the same work, materials, timing, exclusions or contractual terms.
Is the difference between commitments and payments an amount due?
Not necessarily. It is an arithmetic difference and the calculator does not interpret contracts, invoices, milestones, disputes or payment obligations.
The complete workbook separates rooms, budget items, contractor quotes and payments, then links them with internal IDs, dashboard totals and structural checks.
